Why always me? Liverpool forward Mario Balotelli somehow finds himself centre of controversy again…
Mario Balotelli has played down the penalty drama at Anfield last night, pointing out that Liverpool actually beat Besiktas and we should be focusing on the positives.
The Italian – who in fairness, has only ever missed two penalties in his entire career – took the ball from Jordan Henderson to score from the spot, which seemed to annoy Daniel Sturridge more than our vice-captain.
Balotelli took to Instagram and Twitter to try to defuse the situation, posting the below updates:
