The 19-year-old has been missing for the Reds since February, after picking up an injury during the penalty shootout defeat to Besiktas in the Europa League. But the Daily Mirror report that Rodgers can now once again call upon the youngster.

The fact that it is so pleasing that Ibe is now back in the fold demonstrates how far the winger has come this season alone. He started the campaign as a prominent part of the Derby side that was one of the Championship’s pace-setters, before being brought back to Anfield in mid-January.

Until his lay-off, he was emerging as an important member of Rodgers’s revolution, and helped to extend their unbeaten run which began in December.
