Kolo Toure proved that, even at the age of 34, he’s still as strong as ever. The centre-back has been astonishing his Liverpool teammates with his performances in our club’s ‘Leg Press Challenge’ – as seen in the video below.

The challenge involves using your legs to lift as much weight as possible – a standard practice in gyms across the country. However, even the most regular of gym-goers would struggle to match this effort from the Ivorian.
Toure was delighted by his own success, even calling teammate Lucas Leiva over to watch, while his completion of the challenge drew cheers from behind the camera – predictably held by defender Jose Enrique.
Former Arsenal and Manchester City defender Toure has made 44 appearances for the Reds since joining us at the start of last season. He’s provided us with useful back-up for the likes of Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho, with his best performances arguably coming against European Champions Real Madrid late last year.
