Usually reliable BBC journalist Ben Smith claims that both Henry and Tom Werner will meet with Rodgers for a showdown meeting on Wednesday – but the Echo reckon Henry is staying in America, and Werner is travelling alone…

It seems strange that the Echo would make such a direct claim if they hadn’t been informed as much – which for us – indicates two things.. They’re right and Henry is staying in America, and more importantly – Rodgers is keeping his job.

The principle owner would surely be present for a meeting in which the Northern Irishman’s tenure was cut short, right…?

The end of season meeting has been well publicised, but now that both Jurgen Klopp and Carlo Ancelotti have confirmed that they’re taking some time away from football (via ITV and Sky Sports respectively), it looks more and more likely that Rodgers will keep his job – despite our damp and uninspiring season.
