Lucas Leiva, our longest serving player, has lined up alongside some true legends of the game during his time with Liverpool and Brazil.
Today, he, Alberto Moreno and Joao Teixeira took over the club’s official Twitter account and engaged in a Q&A with fans. Teixeira asked our in-form anchorman and Moreno to name their ultimate 5-a-side teams from the brilliant players they’d lined up alongside.
While Moreno’s was impressive, Lucas’s was Galactico – and we’re ignoring the fact that both have decided not to pick a goalkeeper!

The thought of a prime Gerrard and Alonso sitting in front of Neymar Suarez and Ronaldinho is jaw-dropping, and it actually highlights how successful a career Lucas has had that he can call these players his former team-mates.
Gerrard, Alonso and Suarez have sadly moved to pastures new of course, but Lucas remains an Anfield stalwart.
