Brendan Rodgers will appear on Goals on Sunday and discuss Liverpool tenure

Since his October sacking, Brendan Rodgers has kept himself to himself.

Actually, he dealt with the whole situation, including Jurgen Klopp’s appointment in his place, with humility and dignity.

Rodgers has been linked with the Swansea and Chelsea jobs, but after turning down the advances of his former club – he’ll eventually make his return to our screens on Sky Sports on ‘Goals on Sunday’ – a football talk show with high profile guests – according to KopTalk.

You can be certain that Chris Kamara and Ben Shepherd will be keen on questioning Rodgers about his Liverpool firing.

The Northern Irishman nearly led us to a famous title, but his failings in the transfer market and inability to function without Luis Suarez eventually saw FSG turn their attentions elsewhere.

Rodgers is a classy, intelligent man – and we’re interested to hear what he’s got to say on football matters both past and present. You can be sure he’ll maintain the levels of respect he displayed upon his exit, unlike many managers who choose to air dirty laundry in public.

You can watch at 10AM on the morning of Sunday 17th.
