Liverpool star wins Premier League Fans’ Player of the Month

Liverpool playmaker Adam Lallana has won the Premier League Player of the Month award for March, Sky Sports confirm.

The award represents Lallana’s turn around under Jurgen Klopp and his newfound importance to the side.

Lallana played three league games last month, and put in particularly excellent display verses Manchester City in our 3-0 Anfield battering following the League Cup Final heartache.

He scored and assisted, but also put in terrific performances against Manchester United in the Europa League – although technically – this shouldn’t have counted in the voting.

The 27-year-old, 18 months after arriving from Southampton for big money, is finally starting to prove himself at Liverpool.

Due to the £25m price-tag Lallana’s often come under flak for a lack of goals and assists, but he’s now creating chances regularly and linking up with the likes of Coutinho and Roberto Firmino excellently.

His touch is exquisite and his control is as good as anyone in the top flight. Now he’s combining this with his work-rate, cleverness and productivity he’s a genuine asset, and we hope he maintains the form from now until the end of the season.
