Liverpool fans over in Dortmund are in spectacular spirits ahead of tonight’s Europa League quarterfinal, ready to give our German friends a run for their money in the noise department!
(Although with 80,000 of them roughly expected, that’ll be a tough ask!)
Congregating in the city’s Zum Altem Markt, Reds belted out Fields of Anfield Road, and the clips are circling the internet before the 8:05pm kick off.
It’s going to be a tremendous occasion regardless of the result with Jurgen Klopp returning to the club that made him, and Liverpool fans meeting the European club which most shares our values.
Still, bringing a good result back to Anfield is the real task.
As well as the fun, certain travelling Kopites have been sure to bring banners which thank Dortmund for their continual support in both the Justice for Hillsborough Campaign and fair ticket prices for fans.
