Earlier in the day, we brought you a video of Cameron Brannagan scoring a delightful goal against Sacramento Republic in our U21s post-season friendly in the United States.
Now footage has emerged of Ryan Kent’s opener – and in our opinion it makes Brannagan’s superb solo effort look positively ordinary!
Kevin Stewart was the provider, spraying a wonderful ball over the top for the young winger to latch on to. The finish, however, was sublime:
How casual was that?!
Doesn’t it remind you of a certain goal at Old Trafford back in 2009?

Thanks for the memories, Andrea!

As we reported, we drew the game 2-2. We were winning 2-1 going into the final minute, but Harry Williams powered home a back-post header for the Americans in the dying seconds (via official site).
It was the final match in our double-header against the same opposition. We lost the first match 2-1 last Saturday.
