Liverpool are turning our attentions to Southampton flyer Sadio Mane, with Mario Gotze ruling out a potential switch to Merseyside.
A £25m summer switch is being mooted, with Liverpool having already given Southampton around £60m in transfer fees over the past few summers for the likes of Dejan Lovren, Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Nathaniel Clyne.
The reaction from supporters is mostly mixed. Many note the attacker’s qualities, having watched him bag 25 Premier League goals in two seasons since arriving in England – but many are disappointed we’re shopping on the south coast again – when more glamorous European targets are available.
Where do you stand on Mane, Reds?
Sadio Mane does have a lot of qualities but I’m just fed up of overpaying for players, wouldn’t a terrible signing tho

For a wide attacking position that’s notorious for inconsistent performers, Sadio Mane goes against the grain. I like his game.

Laughable that Liverpool turned £10 million Sadio Mane when he was at Red Bull Salzburg two years ago, but want £25 million Sadio Mane now.

If we sign Sadio Mane, he would be a massive upgrade on Lallana

Sadio Mane is a finished Lazar Markovic coming off a really good year in England rather than a really mediocre year in Turkey.

Really don’t want Sadio Mane. I thought we learnt from our mistakes of overpaying for average players from the Prem.
