Liverpool on the verge of next signing as medical scheduled (Rumour)

Posted by

We’re apparently close to making yet another early signing this summer, with Piotr Zielinski having his medical scheduled ahead of a £9.5m move from Udinese, according to Football Italia (via the Daily Star).

The Polish international has been tipped to make a switch to Anfield since before the Euros began, and the reports have only ramped up since the tournament got underway. Reports suggest he’s now practically a Liverpool player, with the 22-year-old set to undergo a medical as soon as Poland’s participation in the Euro 2016 Championships end.

After coming second in their group, Poland’s next game is against Switzerland in the first knockout round. It’s not the worst result for them by any stretch, and they’ll be confident they can get through to the quarter finals.

There are plenty of incredibly strong teams in the competition though, so it’s unlikely Poland will remain in it all that much longer. We should therefore have our next signing sorted before the end of the competition, if you believe the reports coming from Football Italia.

Zielinski is an incredibly talented young midfielder with a bright future, even if he didn’t impress during his 45 minute cameo for Poland vs Ukraine. Jurgen Klopp is clearly a fan though, as he’s been scouting him for a while.
