Sadio Mane looks to have given his Liverpool switch the all clear following his medical this past Monday afternoon, with the Senegalese striker giving the thumbs up as he left. This sends out an incredibly positive message to us fans, suggesting the deal is all but over the line.

The Southampton star looks set to become our first marquee signing of the summer, with a £30m move from St Mary’s seemingly now just around the corner (via the Daily Mail). The tricky winger could prove to be a phenomenal acquisition, as he fills a void in the squad that badly needed addressing.
He looks as though he will fit perfectly into Jurgen Klopp’s style of play, and it’s easy to see why we’ve made him one of our top targets this summer.
The 24-year-old is set to become the third most expensive player in the club’s history should he complete his £30m move, with only Andy Carroll and Christian Benteke ahead of him (via the Daily Mail).
With the medical complete, Mane’s representatives are now set to discuss personal terms ahead of the proposed move. This seems like a formality though, as in modern football (even though it’s against the rules) these things have often been discussed long before a deal is done.
