Jurgen Klopp got his first pre-season started this past Saturday, with a huge number of players turning up to get things underway.
Obviously several players either were involved or still are involved in the Euro 2016 Championships or Copa America, so some of them are unavailable or are being handed a rest.
The Echo claims that Sadio Mane, Joel Matip, Marko Grucic, and Loris Karius all turned up for pre-season, which is absolutely fantastic news. All four will get as much time as possible in order to gel with their new teammates and grow accustomed to the way things are done at Liverpool, which is absolutely vital.

The likes of Mario Balotelli, Danny Ings, Joe Gomez, and Lazar Markovic were also present, as well as a number of last season’s regulars.
There’s a sense of real confidence about the upcoming season, with Jurgen Klopp having everyone excited for the 2016/17 campaign.
A strong pre-season will only further increase the confidence around the camp, and hopefully we see some more new signings through the door ready to take part.
