A list of the top ten player names on the back of the 2016/17 away shirts has been compiled (via Liverpool FC), and there are some strange inclusions and omissions.
Check out the list below:
10) Mamadou Sakho
We’ve always been known for standing by our players through adversity, and the treatment of Sakho during the failed drugs test farce is no different.
9) Nathaniel Clyne
Clyne is a bit of a surprise entry, but we’ve seen how good he can be under Jurgen Klopp – and how he was behind Kyle Walker at the Euros is anyone’s guess.
8) Jordan Henderson
Currently our captain, but will that still be the case when the season starts? With the quality shown by the new signings arriving it’s unclear whether he’s even guaranteed a starting spot.
7) Divock Origi
He took a while to get going, but the Belgian has now become a real fan favourite and has a bright future ahead of him.
6) Adam Lallana
Lallana has slowly grown into his position at the club, and it’s not surprising to see him high up the list.
5) Emre Can
Can has been a fan favourite ever since he arrived, with his style and attitude really endearing the fans to him.
4) Daniel Sturridge
Despite a number of fans growing tired with Sturridge’s constant injury issues, he’s still ranked fourth in the list.
3) Sadio Mane
The only new signing on the list, Mane is an impressive third. He’s our one marquee signing so far this summer, but who knows whether he’ll be our last.
2) Roberto Firmino
Firmino hasn’t managed to replicate the form he was showing in the Bundesliga before his transfer, but he’s still been a superb signing. He’s unsurprisingly near the top of the list, and this could potentially be a fantastic season for him.
1) Philippe Coutinho
Shocker, Coutinho tops the list. Really time for him to step up and show both quality and consistency this season!

This list may well change before the season begins, especially when fans get to see a little more of our new signings.
