Andre Wisdom to Red Bull Salzburg

The BBC claim that the Englishman is set for his fourth successive season-long loan spell away from Liverpool, this time in Austria with Red Bull Salzburg. He clearly has no future with us, so it’s a surprise it’s taken so long to find him a new club.

Lazar Markovic to Sporting Lisbon

Dave Maddock in the Mirror reckons our Serbian winger will head back to Portugal on loan, although Liverpool would prefer a £15m fee. Newcastle were mooted as an option but the Shields Gazette rubbished that story.

Mario Balotelli to Nice

The Italian is expected to finalise a move to Ligue 1 side Nice today, ending his Liverpool nightmare, says the same report in the Mirror. His contract expires at the end of the season, so the deal will be a loan, then we’ll release him.

Mamadou Sakho to Sunderland

Liverpool have made it clear in no uncertain terms that Sakho needs to go on loan and prove both his fitness and professionalism. ESPN say Sakho turned down Stoke, while our own sources suggested David Moyes has changed his mind and will take the centre-back on loan today.

Luis Alberto to Lazio

ESPN confirm a deal has been agreed for our Spanish playmaker to join Serie A giants Lazio. The deal will be permanent, with the Italians expected to pay around £6m for the 23-year-old.
