Reds striker Danny Ings is continuing to catch the eye from the U23s after playing a part in last night’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
The forward has impressed fans with his professionalism alone. The hard work he is putting in for the U23 side is a mark of his admirable determination and his overall attitude.
He has been battling hard to rediscover his form after recovering from a cruciate ligament injury that sidelined him for much of last season.
Some strong performances this season, though, have forced the question as to how long it will be before he finds himself back in the first team.
If the supporters on Twitter had it their own way, then Ings would already be playing for Jurgen Klopp again.
Yes!! Imagine an energetic Ings coming on at 60/70 minutes!! ??He’s a goal poacher and could maybe match Lallana in pressing terms. https://t.co/jUdDmugD8U

@LivEchoLFC @JamesPearceEcho Seems fair and logical. Danny Ings must get a chance soon, especially given Sturridge’s form.

@Anything_LFC @IngsDanny He should be starting games with Origi on bench.
