Tomorrow’s game against Watford suddenly became even more important today after Middlesbrough held Manchester City to a 1-1 draw.
A win tomorrow will see us go two points above City and potentially to the top of the league if Arsenal are held to a draw against Tottenham.
The onus is now on us to prove we are serious challengers by taking advantage of our rivals slipping up and coming out on top in a now must win contest.
We are on an 11 game unbeaten run and there is nothing to stop us from extending that if we maintain the kind of performance levels that we have shown in recent weeks.
Watford pose as a tough test having kept three clean sheets in a row, but it is up to our attacking stars to take responsibility and avoid shying away from the task at hand.
Excited fans have taken to Twitter ahead of Sunday’s game at Anfield.

Chelsea will most likely go top tonight but if we beat Watford we can go 2 ahead of City. Huge game now as Arsenal Spurs play each other.
