Liverpool tore Watford apart in the first-half of today’s Premier League clash at Anfield, with Sadio Mane finally breaking through after early domination.
We played a short corner and the ball was delivered towards the near post in the 26th minute. Our Senegalese flyer got ahead of his marker and managed to flick the ball into the opposite corner with his head – a lovely piece of skill for his fifth goal of the campaign.
In fairness, it was the least Liverpool deserved for an excellent start in which Mane, along with Coutinho and Roberto Firmino, produced some scintillating combination play.
