Divock Origi has a bit of a habit of scoring the same goal twice.
We certainly weren’t mistaken yesterday when thinking that we’ve seen his goal against Sunderland, somewhere else before.
That isn’t the first time we’ve seen him make that jinking run down the left-hand side before cutting in and beating the goalkeeper at the far post with a shot that could have been a cross.
Origi scored in almost identical fashion against Stoke last season.
It remains to be seen whether he did, in fact, intend to pick out a teammate or whether he was going for goal.
Who are we kidding? Of course it was a shot.
The striker achieved the same feat against Derby County earlier this season when he produced a carbon-copy of his powerful strike against Southampton the year before.
Keep it up, Divock.
We’ll happily watch you score the same goal on more than one occasion.
