Mourinho slams Manchester United fans ahead of Liverpool clash

Jose Mourinho once did this weird thing at Chelsea where he told their fans to be more like ours.

It went down horribly at Stamford Bridge, while we absolutely loved it! The Portuguese got sacked by Roman Abramovich though and is now at Manchester United, but has oddly done something similar ahead of this Sunday’s crunch clash.

We travel to Old Trafford to face Mourinho’s men who have won nine games on the trot in all competitions and are in a very good way, but the mind-game champion has told United supporters their noise level versus Hull was unacceptable and they must get louder.

“I didn’t do my job well to prepare the players for the game, maybe I should bring more tension to the dynamic,” Mourinho told theTelegraph, despite a simple 2-0 win in the EFL Cup semi-final on Tuesday evening. “The players have to improve, I have to improve and I’m sorry to say that I think the fans also have to improve for a big match on Sunday. Our performances were enough to win but for Sunday we all have to improve.”

Jurgen Klopp always rallies Anfield, but does so in a positive way rather than an accusatory one!

Last term, we went to Old Trafford under Klopp’s guidance and silenced the stadium thanks to Coutinho’s wonder-goal – which helped us progress in the Europa League Last-16.

It was a feisty occasion and both clubs were sanctioned for the fan violence that marred the match.

Hopefully, our Brazilian magician can steal the show again. Coutinho should appear from the bench this evening, enabling him a full start on Sunday.
