Liverpool will reportedly offer €10m to Juventus for 19-year-old central midfielder Francesco Cassata, although we don’t believe it for a minute…
According to transfer market bullsh*tter Gianluca Di Marzio, the youngster has been identified as a target by the Reds, who have made initial enquiries about the availability of the player.
Cassata was signed from Tuscan side Empoli, making the move to Turin at the age of 17 for a €1.3m fee.
Notable for his range of passing, athleticism and tactical awareness, the player has done well this season – but 11 yellow cards in just 19 games so far this term hints that his discipline needs some work.
The Italy U20 international is currently on loan at Serie B side Ascoli, and previously played under World Cup winner Fabio Grosso in the Juventus youth sector.

We’re covering this to let you know in no uncertain terms that the Cassata rumour should be ignored and we’d be surprised if Jurgen Klopp has even heard of the youngster!
As you were…
