You’ve just won a trophy and you’re tweeting another club about it?
Embarrassing.
After Manchester United (with the help of the officials) won the EFL Cup against a courageous Southampton yesterday, centre-back Chris Smalling sent a message to his followers – aimed at Liverpool – regarding his club’s total trophy haul.
It lacks class and says much about what Smalling is like as a man.
A few years back, United called the League Cup a Mickey Mouse cup, but now it apparently suits their agenda.
