Liverpool have been linked to Ryan Sessegnon and Andrew Robertson over the past few weeks, with left-back clearly a priority position for Jurgen Klopp this summer.
However, we’ve seemingly cooled our attentions on both and instead have turned to Napoli’s Algerian flyer Faouzi Ghoulam, with conversations with his representatives expected soon.

That’s according to the not especially reliable Gianluca di Marzio, Sky Italy’s top man.
But because Ghoulam is top-notch, it’s got fans excited, with many picturing a new look back-four for 2017/18 featuring Nathaniel Clyne, Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and the Serie A defender!
Ghoulam is terrific going forward and has a dangerous left-footed cross to boot. Anyone who wants to see what he’s about should watch the first-leg of the Champions League tie with Real Madrid this season. He caused the eventual champions no end of problems. Ghoulam’s feisty and completely happy to play the ball out from the back, but will need to toughen up in the Premier League as we’ve seen some theatrics before.
