Besides arriving with the technical attributes designed to make him a perfect fit to Liverpool’s setup, Salah joins with a growing reputation as a deadly figure in front of goal.
Can, who is currently preparing for Germany’s Confederations Cup semi-final against Mexico, has hailed his new teammates eye-opening statistics.

Salah boasts a record of 34 goals and 18 assists in 81 appearances for Roma, including 19 goals in all competitions last season.
His introduction bolsters the explosive dimension Sadio Mane has offered since signing for the club, giving Klopp two counterattacking outlets either side of Roberto Firmino and ahead of Philippe Coutinho, who will now be granted the freedom to occupy a deeper role thanks to Salah’s presence.
The 25-year-old’s productive spell in Italy, in which time he played for both Fiorentina and Roma, means he returns to England following his unsuccessful 2014 stint with Chelsea as a far more accomplished prospect.
An ideal system is already in place at Liverpool for Salah to thrive under his new manager and finally make a name for himself in the Premier League three-and-a-half years down the line.
Supporters have good reason to be excited about seeing what this man can do as part of an attacking force that was unstoppable at times last season.
