For years, Liverpool have been linked to PSG’s flying Brazilian Lucas Moura – and this summer, we could get him for just £27m, according to French newspaper Le Parisien (translated by Metro).
But having already signed Mo Salah, comfortable in either of the wide attacking positions, it’s very unlikely we’ll spend big on another wing-forward, regardless of the 24-year-old’s undisputed talent.

Lucas Moura still scored 12 Ligue 1 goals last term and impressed whenever called upon, but the January arrival of Julian Draxler pushed him down the pecking order. With Angel di Maria and Edinson Cavani completing a mouthwatering front-three, the flyer had to spend much of the second half of the season on the bench.
Before we bought Salah, many Liverpool fans would have preferred Moura, especially when available for £10m cheaper, but that’s now essentially irrelevant. We actually think the Egyptian is more suited to Jurgen Klopp’s style because he works harder and values end product over flair – and we’d assume our manager agrees.
Whoever secures Lucas Moura though will have an outrageous talent on their hands. We hope he fulfils it somewhere in Europe and not at a Premier League rival!
