Liverpool agree deal with Fulham – but player must now make decision…

Fulham have joined Newcastle and Middlesbrough as potential loan destinations for Liverpool’s young winger Sheyi Ojo.

Sky Sports confirmed today that we’ve accepted all three loan offers and the player’s future now lies in his own hands.

Ojo got chances during Jurgen Klopp’s debut campaign, scoring a memorable FA Cup goal and brilliantly assisting Daniel Sturridge towards the end of that season – but injuries scuppered him in 2016/17.

With Mo Salah arriving, his chances of playing regularly this term are very slim, so Klopp’s decided it sensible to allow the Englishman to test his mettle elsewhere.

Ojo’s been on loan to Wigan and Wolves previously, but will hope to play more than the 11 Championship games he was given at both clubs.

Now aged 20, Ojo needs to be a first-team regular for whoever he joins. Only then will we be able to tell if he’s got what it requires physically to get the job done.
