Liverpool fans have been granted the chance to celebrate what many feared wouldn’t happen during the summer transfer window.
The Reds have agreed a club-record £48million deal to sign RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita, who will officially join the club in on July 1, 2018.
Keita completed his medical in Liverpool on Monday and will become a Red next year, with the club having paid his £48million release clause.
The Guinean midfielder has been a long-term target for Jurgen Klopp, but seen his wishes to leave the club blocked by his current employers, who have refused to budged from an adamance that he would not be sold this summer.
