Another day, another piece of world-class bullsh*t from the Catalan press.
The transfer window is closed. Coutinho is a Liverpool player. Get over it. It’s done.
But apparently, they cannot.
Today, the increasingly terrible Sport ran a story claiming that Coutinho will refuse to play in the Champions League, despite being picked in our 25-man squad.
Barcelona paper Sport says Coutinho “monumentally angry” with Liverpool. He will refuse to play in the Champions League. Good luck with that

Coutinho is playing for Brazil tonight, after which point he’ll return with Roberto Firmino to Liverpool.
Yes, our no.10 will be disappointed, even upset – but refuse to play? Of course he won’t.
Like with Luis Suarez in 2013, he’ll dust himself down and get on with the job he’s paid very highly to do.
He’s unlikely to start against Manchester City, but it won’t be too long before he’s back in the fold.
Jurgen Klopp will make the right decision and reintegrate the Brazilian back into the lineup as he sees fit.
