Virgil van Dijk is about as happy to have signed for Liverpool as we are to have him!
The Dutch powerhouse was clapped into Anfield two days ago before our victory over Leicester; fortunate enough to witness us overcome an early deficit to secure a 2-1 victory.
On social media, the towering centre-half has discussed his first experience at our famous ground.
The 26-year-old has labelled it a brilliant experience, thanking the supporters who gathered to welcome him; promising a big 2018!

We were not shown much of our new centre-back in the stands, but the clip that circled the internet was the reaction to Joel Matip’s early error, which saw us full behind.
The Cameroonian played a sloppy bass from the back and Jamie Vardy capitalised to give the Foxes an early lead – and to the fair – van Dijk’s reaction was priceless!
It’ll be interesting to see which of Dejan Lovren or Matip become van Dijk’s regular partner…
There’s also a case for the ageing Estonian Ragnar Klavan, who many believe has been our best centre-back this term, before even mentioning natural CB Joe Gomez, stuck on the right this term.
