Jurgen Klopp had to pick Dejan Lovren alongside Joel Matip today, because £75m Virgil van Dijk is out with a hamstring injury.
Thankfully, the boss has confirmed it’s not a serious injury, but it’s disappointing after the Dutchman’s epic debut v Everton.

Elsewhere, we’re looking pretty strong. Klopp’s gone with Loris Karius over Simon Mignolet, and Joe Gomez over Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back.
Emre Can holds, with Gini and Ox either side. The front three is as you would expect, with Mo Salah thankfully returning to the lineup after two games out.
