Sadio Mane has been criticised recently, but against FC Porto tonight, he looked every bit as crucial a part of the front-three as Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino.
The Senegalese scored in the first-half to give us the lead and then got a tap in just before hour, getting on the end of Firmino’s saved shot.
But it was the move before it that left fans drooling.
At rapid pace, Liverpool broke from defence, unleashing a running Salah towards Porto’s goal. The Egyptian slotted Firmino through, whose shot almost went in, but the rampaging Mane made sure it did eventually!
It was his 11th of the campaign. Only two less than he scored last term during his brilliant breakthrough.
