Jurgen Klopp rarely fails to amuse reporters at his press conferences and was at hand to entertain yet again on Friday whilst speaking ahead of Saturday’s clash with Newcastle.
The German had journalists laughing as he disclosed information of the familiar virus that has seen Georginio Wijnaldum and Ben Woodburn emerge as possible doubts for the game at Anfield.
Rather than affording his players some personal privacy over the matter, Klopp instead explained that the pair were suffering from diarrhea before being prompted by his peers to use a different term.

Liverpool had looked set to enter the matchup with a fully fit senior squad, although hopes of doing so now look less certain.
The absence of Wijnaldum and James Milner, who requires a late fitness test, could pave the way for Adam Lallana to earn a start having been largely resigned to a place on the bench since his return from injury earlier in the season.
The Englishman may, however, be saved for the second leg of Liverpool’s last 16 contest with Porto on Wednesday with Klopp flaunting a freedom to make changes thanks to his side’s 5-0 aggregate lead.
It seems increasingly likely captain Jordan Henderson will slot back into the starting lineup this weekend as he looks to gain some rhythm following his recent spell on the sidelines.
