Emre Can lasted of all 15 minutes in Germany’s first training session yesterday, before leaving the field.
Joachim Low called up Liverpool’s 24-year-old, despite him being substituted early in our victory over Watford, but it’s now looking unlikely he’ll feature in any games.

The Metro claim Can’s back problems flared up again and he was simply in too much pain to continue.
Germany have friendlies against Spain and Brazil coming up, but it looks unlikely Can will feature.
The midfielder isn’t signing a new contract at Liverpool and looks set to depart in the summer on a Bosman, but until then, we need him.
We have crucial Premier League games coming up in the race for a top four finish, but more importantly, a Champions League quarterfinal with Manchester City to prepare for.
If fit, we’d imagine Can will be in the side for the European games, as he adds power and a presence to the spine of the team.
Hopefully, despite his future plans, he can give his all and leave on a high.
