Suso explains why he doesn’t want to sign for Liverpool

Liverpool’s former youngster Suso has come on leaps and bounds since he transferred to Italy on a permanent basis…

The 24-year-old is now one of AC Milan’s key players and this term in all competitions has scored eight times and assisted a further seven.

As a result, there’s been reports that have suggested Liverpool could activate Suso’s £35m release-clause and bring him back to Anfield.

However, the player himself is happy in Italy.

“I have always said that I am very well here, that I found myself very well and that there is nothing that can make me think I have to leave,” Suso told Tuttosport, when asked about a potential return, translated by the Mirror.

“The team and if the company wants to grow with me, I will be happy because now Milan is my home.

“We do not have to start over from scratch again!”

We don’t want Suso back, to be honest.

He’s a good player, but not an elite one.

We’d much rather the club focussed on bringing in Nabil Fekir from Lyon, instead.

The Frenchman is 24-years-old and according to EuroSport journalist Romain Collet-Gaudin, has already met Jurgen Klopp ahead of a possible €70m transfer.

Fekir has 22 goals and eight assists this term – while playing in similarly attacking positions as Suso.

He’s more talented, quicker and has more venom on the ball.

We think it’ll get done not long after the Champions League Final, too.
