You reckon Trent Alexander-Arnold is overawed by training with the England squad ahead of his first World Cup?
Of course he isn’t.
Liverpool’s teenage right-back is in line to make his debut on Thursday night against Costa Rica, having not got onto the pitch against Nigeria in our first warm-up friendly.
And yesterday, the FA uploaded a lovely goal he whipped into the corner during training.
Trent has a wicked right-foot, as proved by his assists from the flank during 2017/18, as well as a few free-kick goals in the Champions League…
It’s scary to think how good he’s going to become, actually. He has the talent to develop into one of the best fullbacks on the planet and it’s fantastic that he’ll try and do so wearing red.
