Bobby Firmino buys round for 200-person venue in hometown

Roberto Firmino has treated an entire venue to drinks after paying his home town of Maceió a visit during his summer down-time.

The Brazilian is currently enjoying an extended break following his nation’s quarter-final elimination from the World Cup at the hands of Belgium.

Liverpool’s no.9 has taken the time to return to where it first started for him and further fuelled his glowing reputation as a loveable figure.

Whilst enjoying a night out, the striker bought a round for the entire 200-person venue, according to UOL Esporte.

He also couldn’t resist the opportunity to get on the microphone, although that will come as no surprise to those Reds who remember his wedding karaoke videos.

It was also reported Firmino was happy to take photographs and sign autographs for his fans throughout the night, somewhat epitomising his humility as a professional.

Firmino’s pre-season campaign will begin at the end of the month when he joins up with the Reds for their training camp in France.

This means he will miss the upcoming trip to Blackburn Rovers as well as the visit to the United States of America for the International Champions Cup tournament, which will see the Reds play Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and Manchester United.

He should, however, be available to feature in the concluding pre-season games against Napoli in Dublin and Torino at Anfield.
