It looks like it could be a straight shootout between ourselves and Chelsea for the signature of AS Roma stopper Alisson.
According to Di Marzio reporter David Amoyal, Real Madrid are not interested in paying his asking price – so it’s Jurgen Klopp against Maurizio Sarri for the player’s signature – providing we both want to pay the money.
For those asking- on Friday we reported that Liverpool have joined Chelsea in the race for Alisson. The Brazilian keeper had previously agreed to terms with Real Madrid who however don't appear willing to meet Roma's asking price

Alisson has taken AS Roma out of his Instagram bio, which although seemingly petty, is not something a 25-year-old does on purpose if he’s planning to stay at the club.

Alisson has been linked to Liverpool since Christmas time, and despite Loris Karius’s half-decent run of form last season, it’s blatantly obvious we require a new no.1 ahead of 2018/19 – regardless of the Champions League Final.
Brazil’s starting keeper is the best option on the market and it’s down to Liverpool to pay the money to make it happen.
Transfer guru Alfred Pedulla says Alisson’s future will be sorted out by Friday, so until then, we patiently wait.
