Liverpool took a 2-0 lead into the dressing room today against West Ham, thanks to an early strike from Mo Salah and an effort right on the strike of half-time from his partner in crime Sadio Mane.

With seconds left of the half, Andrew Robertson crossed for James Milner, who pulled the ball back on the volley for our Senegalese no.10 to slot home.

Mane wheeled off and showed his new number to the Kop, having been awarded the vacant no.10 late this summer.

Interestingly, Mane is the first Liverpool player since John Barnes in the 1980s to score on the opening day of the season three years on the trot!
