Gary Lineker isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but he actually says quite a lot which is very sensible.
And he’s hit back at Andy Gray and others who’ve criticised Liverpool for appointing Thomas Gronnemark as a specialist throw-in coach.

Gronnemark destroys Andy Gray with brilliant comments
Gray, sounding like a dinosaur, ridiculed the idea and compared it to appointing a kick-off coach…
But Lineker thinks this is unnecessary, rightly suggesting that if it helps us improve by 1%, it’s a clever move by Jurgen Klopp.
Don’t understand the sniping at Klopp’s appointment of a throw-in coach. If it brings about one extra goal, an extra point or two, it could make all the difference to a season. It’s the little things…. https://t.co/meUJIxaDMf

We’re just looking forward to seeing if Gronnemark’s teaching benefits us on the pitch.
Not only can he launch the ball further than anybody else on the planet, but he’s studied the intricacies and tactics of the throw-in, too.
There sadly isn’t many players currently at Melwood who can learn from him, as they’re mostly on international duty!
When they return, we’ve got a massive game with Spurs, before hosting PSG in the Champions League.
