Jose Mourinho naturally reacted with incredible negativity and decided to destroy Phil Jones’s confidence in his post-match press-conference. Most managers would offer the player who missed a penalty support, but not the bitter Portuguese.
‘We practice penalties and we see it in training and when we get past the sixth penalty I know we’re in trouble with Bailly and Jones,’ Mourinho told Sky Sports, cited in the Metro.
Liverpool fans are spoilt with Jurgen Klopp in many ways, but can you imagine the German even considering throwing his players under the bus – following a penalty loss?!
