Tonight was Naby Keita’s big chance, but it went abysmally.
Not only was the Guinean very poor for the first 15 minutes, but he was stretchered off with his head in his hands. It looks like he may have picked up a very nasty injury, which is the last thing we wanted.

We’ll only find out the extent of the injury later, but when a player is driven by a cart off the pitch, with no obvious challenge affecting him, it doesn’t look good.
With Adam Lallana also injured, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain obviously a very long way off, we have only Fabinho on the bench as a central midfield option, but Jurgen Klopp doesn’t yet trust his Brazilian summer signing tactically.

Horrible to see Keita stretchered off. Wish him a speedy recovery – will be sorely missed if out for a sustained period.

Now that really doesn’t look good for Naby Keita… :(

FFS. Keita's big chance. 15 minutes in and he's off. He looks gutted and a stretcher is being used. Shit. Hope it's not too bad.

Raging about Keita. Really hope that the stretcher was just a precaution

Hopefully Keita wont be out for too long. This makes Fabinho our only substitute midfielder for now. That's not great #LFC
