Harry Wilson was on target again on Tuesday evening as he netted the winning goal for Wales against Ireland.
The winger, on loan at Derby County for the season, certainly has an eye for goal and was pleased with his showing for Ryan Giggs’ side as his 25-yard set-piece found the top corner.
He told BBC Sport: “It’s always nice to see a free-kick go in; the most important thing tonight is that it turned out to be the winning goal.
“I’m feeling fit, I’m feeling strong, and when you score, it makes everything better. All of us, to a man, tonight, put in a performance and we deserved the win.”
Wilson is a sensational talent and there is so much more to come from the 21-year-old winger. Hopefully, we will see him up close for the first-team next season and beyond.
