It is no shock whatsoever to see Jordan Henderson start given he will be suspended for the Merseyside derby against Everton on Sunday, while the front three was always going to be Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane once it was confirmed that the latter had recovered from illness.
James Milner began the game against PSG at Anfield and he will need just as good a performance tonight.
These tweets summed up the mood among Reds fans to the team news – with lots of focus on the midfield trio.
Just a reminder that a midfield of Hendo Gini and Milner has already beat PSG this season, at least wait until they perform shit before you slander

Feel Hendo and Milner should be a good contrast to what PSG bring. Let's hope so anyway #YNWA

Of course Klopp went with Hendo Gini and Milner midfield. It’s the midfield he trusts the most even if it’s not our best and with Hendo suspended for the derby he had to play

It’s clear that the Reds will look to attack PSG, with the front three more than capable of scoring a couple of times. Beat them, and the Reds will go through to the knockout stages with a game to spare.
