Fabinho was excellent for the Reds this afternoon, putting in tackles and playing incisive balls forward from midfield.

There was some doubt over whether he would be handed a start, but Jurgen Klopp certainly got it right by selecting him ahead of James Milner, who didn’t even emerge off the bench.
