Liverpool are reportedly plotting a move to sign Thorgan Hazard during the January transfer window.
The Borussia Monchengladbach winger has registered 11 goals and seven assists in 16 appearances across all competitions so far this season.
His superb form has not only helped hoist his side to second in the Bundesliga, but also evidently attracted interest from the Premier League.
Liga Financial report that Liverpool are in ‘pole position’ to sign the 25-year-old, who supposedly has a £26million release clause in his contract.
The report comes amid strong speculation linking the Reds to a 2019 move for Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic in their bid to inject more creativity into their attacking ranks.

Hazard, the brother of Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, was also recently linked to a return to Stamford Bridge having spent three years on the club’s books between 2012 and 2015.
His time with the Blues consisted of a two-year loan deal with Belgian side Zulte Waregem as well as a temporary stint with Gladbach prior to his permanent move.
Fresh interest from the London club may well stem from their search for potential alternatives to Dortmund’s Pulisic, who appears to favour a switch to Liverpool at this stage.
