Alisson Becker is probably the best keeper on the planet and we’re not even sure we’re being biased!
The Brazilian racked up yet another clean-sheet tonight and secured our passage into the Champions League knockout stages with a world-class save in the dying seconds to deny Napoli the goal they needed to progress.
He made himself huge and after the ball rebounded off him, the game was done.
The 1-0 win should have been five or six, in reality, with Liverpool having countless gilt-edged chances to put gloss on the scoreline.
But none of that matters when you’ve got a keeper as good as Alisson between the sticks.

It’s been so long since we’ve had even a half-good goalkeeper to rely upon – and now we’ve got the best in the business.
It’s wonderful, and fans on Twitter agree wholeheartedly!
Alisson Becker is somehow making £65million look like small change. Another massive contribution. #LFC

In Mo Salah and Alisson #LFC have absolute world class talent at both ends of the pitch – and not only was that the difference v Napoli, it also puts them in with a genuine shot at honours this season.

I do think it’s only fair that LFC go back to Roma and pay them the extra £100 million they owe for Salah and Alisson.
