Liverpool fans rubbed salt into Jose Mourinho’s wounded following today’s 3-1 victory.
Two second-half goals from Xherdan Shaqiri clinched us the win late on after Manchester United had levelled through Jesse Lingard after Sadio Mane’s opener.
Liverpool were by far and away the better team and in truth, could have won by plenty more!
In injury time, Liverpool fans serenaded United’s Portuguese boss, asking his club to keep him in a job…
"Don't sack Mourinho" chant the Liverpool fans

Liverpool are now 19 points ahead of United, which is the most ever after 17 games of a top flight season.
They are so far below us in terms of footballing ability now, it’s mad.
Obviously we still have to be better than their city rivals for the remainder of the campaign if we’re to achieve our ultimate goal of Premier League title glory – but for now – we have absolutely no complaints.
For what it’s worth, we don’t think United will be sacked, as they have nobody available to replace Mourinho, and it’ll cost an insane amount of money to do so.
