That stat shows the improvement that Klopp now has to turn to when things need shaking up – Daniel Sturridge and Adam Lallana were not even called on against United, while the captain, Jordan Henderson, was even left out of the line-up. At the start of Klopp’s reign – and even last season – that definitely wasn’t the case.
