Jurgen Klopp has discussed our up and coming 16-year-old Ki-Jana Hoever, who might make the bench for the FA Cup tie with Wolves in Monday night.
The teenager has impressed for our U18s and U23s and has been promoted to train with the first-team at Melwood as a result.

So good has he been, that Liverpool thought it ok to loan out Nathaniel Clyne, an England international who at 27-years-old, should be in his prime.
During Klopp’s press-conference today, he explained how talented the Dutch teenager is, but that he doesn’t know when he’ll be given a debut.
Klopp on Ki-Jana Hoever: “He is one for the future. He is in training and it is a joy to watch him. When the future starts I don’t know.”

We’ve seen Hoever fleetingly in highlight clips, and he looks the business – stylistically reminiscent of Joe Gomez.
He’s tall, athletic, composed and silky on the ball – happy to drive out past pressing attackers.
Personally, we’d love for him to get minutes against Wolves in the FA Cup, which would make him our third youngest ever player.
