This is crappy news.
Thieves have struck a Liverpool player once again while he’s on the pitch for the Reds…
This time, it’s Sadio Mane – whose house was burgled while he was playing against Bayern Munich on Tuesday night in the Champions League.
Our Senegalese superstar had an all-action game in which he was involved in nearly everything, but while this was going on, criminals were inside his property – aware he wouldn’t be home for hours.
According to the Echo, watches, jewellery and phones were taken.
Sadly, this has happened to other Liverpool players in the past few years. Dejan Lovren’s house was targeted in 2017 – and Mane actually had his patio door smashed on the same night as well.
Roberto Firmino, Pepe Reina, Daniel Agger, Jerzy Dudek, Daniel Agger, Steven Gerrard, Robbie Keane and Jermain Pennant have all been victims of burglarised crime while playing for Liverpool.
We just hope the ordeal doesn’t rock Mane too much, and that he and his family feel safe and happy going forward.
